NetBSD on Amazon EC2

いままで、FreeNAS + ESXi + NetBSD でおうちサーバーを運用してきたのですが、このような御時世、Amazon EC2 のようなインフラプロバイダを検討してみる価値があるかと思い、試しています。いまんとこ、なぜか ssh で仮想マシンインスタンスにログインできていません。なぜだろう? まずは、Linux あたりから試してみるかな。
うちの場合は、web サーバーあたりとしての利用方法は使えそうです。ファイルサーバーは、無理だなあ。

SSH つながった

もしやと思って、Security Groups の確認をしてみたら、ポート 22 がブロックされてました。デフォルトでは、全ての TCP, UDP, ICMP が閉じられているようです。

さて、何をするかな。
それにしても、Amazon AWS の日本語ページの訳は最低だな。意味が分からないので、英語のページを参照しなくてはならないこと、しばしば。
ちなみに、NetBSD は「1年間お試し無料」の対象外みたいです。従量課金って、結構怖いなー。
